Patricia A. “Pat” Montgomery November 15, 1927 – February 10, 2023

Patricia A. “Pat” Montgomery, 95, Altoona, passed away Friday at Garvey Manor after a brief illness. Pat was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Vincent and Anna (Wiederkehr) Foster. On August 11, 1963 she married William H. “Bill” Montgomery. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Foster and a sister, Jean Foster. Pat was a 1945 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and reading. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church by Fr. Michael Pleva. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Altoona.
