Patricia D. Carner Jan. 2, 1933-March 12, 2023

Patricia D. Carner, 90, Altoona, passed away at her residence, Sunday, March 12, 2023. She was born in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Chester B. and Olive (Yingling) Claar. Patricia married Elwood R. Carner, Sr. on March 25, 1954, he preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters: Deborah Carner, Tonda Rudy and Teresa Jones (John); thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Patricia was the last of her family of four children and was also preceded in death by her son, Elwood R. Carner, Jr. and daughter, Lisa Boyette. She was a 1952 graduate of Altoona High School and retired from Puritan after many years of service. Patricia enjoyed sewing, crocheting, working puzzles, bingo, baking, but especially loved spending time with her family. A celebration of life was held at the convenience of the family. Interment is at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. Arrangements were provided by The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602.
