Heartfelt condolences to all of you. Mrs. Mattern (Patsy) was not just my supervisor for over 20 years, she became my friend and mentor. I was very young and Hillview was my first job as an LPN. I remember at first thinking "she needs to lighten up". But as the years flew by and I became a seasoned nurse, I realized how valuable her advice and supervision was to succeed in the field of nursing. Now I'm retired and I can't tell you how many times I have quoted her through the years. She was never at a loss for words when it came to her family. She was so proud of all of you. (She even talked one of you into making silk wedding flowers for me back I 1979). She had a heart of gold and I will always be thankful our paths crossed. Now I must "date and sign" this or "it won't be worth the paper it's written on". That was one of my favorites which I used a lot through the years . Rest In Peace Mrs Mattern. And Thank you
