Obituary For Paul J. Estright
Paul J. Estright June 4, 1937-Feb. 17, 2023
Paul J. Estright, 85, Altoona, passed away Friday morning at his residence. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Paul R. and Marie B. (Arthurs) Estright. Paul married Audrey J. Butler in 1959. Paul is survived by his loving wife; two sons: Richard P. Estright (Sue A.) and James H. Estright all of Altoona; two grandchildren: Richard and Becky; five great-grandchildren: Jude, Finn, Bear, Dekland and Gideon; a brother, Robert D. Estright (Joy) of Hollidaysburg; sister, Patricia C. Piper of Altoona; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Estright and brother-in-law, Robert Piper. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He retired after many years of working for the Dr. Magee family. He was a member at Canan Station Mennonite Church and a lifetime member of Allegheny Township Fire Co. Paul enjoyed doing puzzles and crafts. He loved going to the casinos; re-upholstering antique furniture and woodworking. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023 at Carson Valley Cemetery by Pastor Jack Styer.
