Pauline F. Turchetta July 15, 1923-Oct. 12, 2022

Pauline F. Turchetta, 99, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Clarence and Pauline (Tomlinson) Lockard. Pauline married Vincent F. Turchetta in Altoona on April 6, 1943, he preceded her in death on November 10, 1989. Pauline is survived by her son, Patrick Turchetta of Hollidaysburg; two grandsons: Jason Turchetta and wife Melissa and Brian Turchetta; also, great-grandson, Nicholas Turchetta. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Marie Turchetta; daughter-in-law, Alston Turchetta and sister, Rosemarie Callis. Pauline was a 1941 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. She retired from the Railroad Retirement Board where she served the Altoona office for 25 years. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Pauline was quite accomplished at sewing and loved visits with her family. A committal service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum by the Franciscan Fathers.
