Ralph V. Isenberg

February 3, 1933-January 10, 2024

Ralph V. Isenberg, 90, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly at the Celebration Villa Wednesday morning.

He was born in Bellwood, the son of the late Ralph and Daisy (Burns) Isenberg. Ralph married Patricia J. Steinbeiser on Oct. 1, 1953 and she preceded him in death on Nov. 4, 2017.

Ralph is survived by a sister-in-law, Relura ‘Lorie’ Steinbeiser; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Bernadette B. “Bernie” Wertz.

Ralph was a 1951 graduate of Bellwood High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He retired after 30 years of service with Bell Telephone as an Installer.

Ralph was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

He loved to hunt and enjoyed watching and feeding the deer.

Friends will be received from 10-11 am on Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where a funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11 am with Fr. James Dugan. Interment will be in Blair Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests the contributions be made in Ralph’s memory to: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2716 Broad Ave., Altoona, PA 16601.

    Our condolences of course but Ralph is now with his love, Patty, and rest of his family. He was very well looked after following Patty's passing by niece and nephew Barbara and Michael B. who will miss him dearly. Fly with the Angels Ralph, you have earned your wings. R & J
