Ray James Shultz Sept. 6, 1954-Feb. 7, 2022

Ray James Shultz, 67, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Louis and Marie (Chulyak) Shultz. Ray is survived by a daughter, Courtney Sweet and her mother, Karen Sweet both of Altoona; and a brother, Lou Shultz of San Jose, CA. Also surviving is his beloved dog, Toby, who he took care of for 14 years. He was a 1972 graduate of Altoona High School and retired from F.L. Smith. Ray was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
