Rena B. Abraham

December 16, 1935-March 11, 2025

Rena B. Abraham, 88, Martinsburg, formerly of Altoona, passed away Tuesday morning at Homewood at Martinsburg. She was born in Amyoun, Lebanon, the daughter of the late Robert and Stella (Matry) George.

Rena married Albert A. Abraham on August 28, 1955 in Altoona, Penn.

She is survived by her loving husband of Martinsburg; her sons: Albert A. Abraham (Betty) of Hollidaysburg, Robert C. Abraham (Beth) of Altoona and Charles A. Abraham (Antonella) of Parkland, Fl; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her brother, Robert George (Mary Jane) of Vandergrift.

Rena was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond George.

She was a 1954 graduate of Altoona High School and a 1955 graduate of the Altoona School of Business.

Rena was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, where she was a very active member. She had been the President of the Ladies Society and a member of the choir.

She enjoyed singing, cooking and especially caring for her home and family.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, March 14, 2025 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 519 58th St., Altoona, PA 16602 with Rev. Fr. Isaac Danevicius, celebrant. Interment will be held at Alto-Reste Park.
