Rev. James Francis BunnSept. 30, 1938-May 31, 2022Rev. James Francis Bunn passed into eternal life on May 31, 2022. Born September 30, 1938, son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Krist) Bunn. James was a member of St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church where he served as an altar boy. James was a 1956 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, he entered St. Vincent Seminary. James was ordained a Priest at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on May 23, 1964 and celebrated his first Mass the next day at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Father Bunn served as Pastor in churches of the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese and as Principal at Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown.There will be no viewing. Services will be private at the convenience of Fr. Jim’s family.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602.
