Robert C. “Bob” Gindlesperger
November 19, 1949-September 17, 2024
Robert C. ‘Bob’ Gindlesperger, 74, Altoona, passed away at his residence, Tuesday after an extended illness. He was born in South Fork, the son of the late Henry “Toby” and Esther (Dively) Gindlesperger.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Jo (Campbell); a son, Chad Gindlesperger and wife, Chrissy; two grandchildren: Jake and Katie all of Altoona.
He was preceded in death by his sister.
Bob was a proud patriot and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He looked forward to his weekly get togethers at Denny’s for coffee with his friends. Bob liked to go fishing and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Atlanta Braves. He especially looked forward to hunting with his son, Chad and attending his softball games. Bob loved his dogs, Gus and Baxter.
At Bob’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
