Robert E. Lee
February 26, 1939-August 30, 2026
Robert E. Lee, 87, of Altoona, peacefully passed away Sunday at Cedarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born in Tyrone, the son of the late Ernest E. and Burnett (Blakely) Lee.
Robert was twice married, first to Betty Kelley and secondly to Arlene Smith, they both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Jordan C. Lee (Kaitlyn) of Altoona; his brother, Clifford Lee (Ollie) of Houston, TX; two sisters: Sheila Lowery of Harrisburg and Shirley Lee of Altoona; and his longtime girlfriend, Anna Smith.
Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Arion Lee and his brother, Randolph Lee.
He was a 1957 graduate of Greenfield Kimmel High School.
Robert retired from FCI Electronics as a warehouse supervisor and machine operator.
He was a member of the Arandale Elks Lodge and the Ironmasters Country Club.
Robert enjoyed golfing, playing softball and watching Westerns.
Friends will be received from 9-11 am on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am in the Stevens Memorial Chapel.
The family requests that contributions be made in Robert’s memory to American Heart Association (heart.org).
