We are sad to announce the passing of Ron Wojcik of Altoona. Ron died at the age of 62 on Monday, October 17, 2022 at his sister's house in Hollidaysburg. In his final days he was surrounded by beloved friends and family.
Ron was the son of the late Thomas Wojcik and Theresa Jean Wojcik of Altoona.
He found joy in travelling and being around others. Ron loved going on trips and connecting with people that he met, whether he was at the beach or just around town near his homes in Garden Heights and the Diamond in Hollidaysburg.
Ron had a great memory and could recall places he had been and people he had met with amazing detail. He loved good food, good music, and enjoyed an active night life when he was abroad. Ron loved to keep his home nicely decorated and went to great lengths to find the perfect furnishings to make his space welcoming and pleasant.
He spent a lot of his time around family. His friendly personality and sense of humor ensure that he will be missed by those people who are lucky enough to be counted among his friends and family.

My thoughts and condolences go out to the entire Wojcik family. Ronnie had a big heart, and always made me laugh, whether it was just a two minute conversation at the store in passing or if we would hang out for an evening at the CWV years ago. I worked with Ron at McDonalds many years ago. He was always pleasant and a dedicated worker. I saw him a year ago out and about and he remembered me. My condolences on the loss of this sweet man. Judy Sheehan
