Ruth L. Kennedy Sept. 18, 1944-Dec. 10, 2022

Ruth L. Kennedy, 78, Altoona, passed away Saturday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late John R. and Mary Camilia (Stevens) Thomas. Ruth married Donald A. Kennedy on Aug. 31, 1985, he preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1990. Ruth is survived by her sisters: Rose Edmundson and Anna M. Detwiler both of Altoona; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She enjoyed fishing, yard sales, camping and flea markets. Friends will be received from 10-11 am on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602, with a funeral service immediately following in the Stevens Memorial Chapel at 11 am with Reverend Ralph Hamer.
