Sandra B. Feathers
January 28, 1953 – September 9, 2023

Sandra B. Feathers, 70, Gallitzin, passed away Saturday at her residence.
Sandy was born in Altoona, daughter of the late James and Betty L. (Haiges) Hughes.
She is survived by two sisters: Bettie V. Brennan and Jeannie L. Jones of Altoona; a brother, William J. Hughes-Anna of Altoona; a special sister in law, Elizabeth Hughes; a special brother in law, Donald Brennan, Jr.; a special nephew, Donald Brennan III; nieces: Stephanie Coho (Bryan); Stacy Hughes (Tyrone), Sabrina Hughes and Rachel Jones.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, James F. Hughes.
Sandy was a 1971 graduate of Altoona Area High School and attended Penn State University and Mount Aloysius College.
She retired as manager of Deb Shops in the Logan Valley Mall after 19 years of service.
Sandy had a deep love for animals. She enjoyed being a portrait artist and caring for her home.
Friends will be received from 3p.m. until a 6 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 Eighth Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602 by Rev. Dennis Braun. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
