Sandra L. Pearson May 20, 1943-Dec. 28, 2022

Sandra L. Pearson, 79, Altoona, peacefully passed away Wednesday at her residence surrounded by her loved ones after a lengthy battle with M.S. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Ross and Mildred (Stouffer) Eckard. Sandra married James B. Pearson, Sr. on March 25, 1961. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 61 years; a son, James B. Pearson, Jr. and wife Judy of Linglestown; two daughters: Tina Marie Miller and fiancé, Glenn Banks, Michelle Chilcote all of Altoona; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marlene Brandt of Altoona. She was a graduate of Altoona High School and was a member of Lakemont United Methodist Church. Sandra enjoyed shopping, decorating her home, loved animals, but especially loved spending time with her family. A private service will be held at the discretion of the family at a later date.
