During my 25 years as a Central Office administrator in the Altoona Area School District I became acquainted with many fantastic people - and Shirley Adams was one of them. When she attended a variety of AASD functions with her husband, Henry, she always went out of her way to converse, ask about my family, and exhibit kindness at every opportunity. I know she was highly-regarded at the Blair County Courthouse for many of the same reasons during her years in Judge Carpenter's office. Please be sure you are in my thoughts and prayers.
