Obituary For Stephen Matthew Brulia

Stephen Matthew Brulia Oct. 3, 1950-Feb. 24, 2021

Stephen Matthew Brulia, passed away after a brief illness. He was born in Huntingdon, Pa., son of the late Peter M. and Sophia J. (Weko) Brulia. Surviving are his daughter, Heather Brulia; brothers: Dave (Bonnie), Phil (Amy), Vince (Julia), and Ken (Robin); sisters: Christine (John) Burgh, Stephanie (Allegra) Brulia and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Steve was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. His career included SKF and was active in the local music scene as an avid drummer for more than 50 years. Steve enjoyed a variety of music, motorcycles, bicycling and walking. Due to Covid-19, there will be no public viewing. A private service will be held for the immediate family members. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK. 73123-1718 or online at: cancer.org/givehope.     So sorry to hear the sad news about Steve. He was a very special person. My thoughts and condolences go out to the entire Brulia family. Steve was one incredible drummer, therefore the heavens are a helluva lot more loud today. I will be sending a donation to the cancer society in Steves memory. Bill Wittmer

    Condolences to the family. I was blessed to meet Steve while doing what he loved, making music. We became fast friends, we went for coffee, and lunch and he came down to my house to play my Dad's guitar for me. I will miss you my friend and always keep you in my heart.
