Steven M. Montgomery Sept. 23, 1973 – April 14, 2023

Steven M. Montgomery, 49, of Gallitzin, passed away Friday morning at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Steven was born in Altoona, a son of Terry and Linda (Montgomery) Rhodes. Surviving are his parents of Altoona; two sons, Justin and Hunter at home; a brother, Michael Rhodes of Altoona; three sisters: Kathleen Misitano and Marie Rhodes, both of Altoona, and Christine Ferguson of Charlottesville, S.C.; and his partner, Deborah Love, and her daughter, Harley Love. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Rhodes. Steven attended Altoona Area High School. He was employed as a carpenter with the DeGol Corporation for over 15 years. At Steven’s request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Steven’s life will be celebrated at a later date. Arrangements are in care of The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
