Steven W. Stiver

November 30, 1952-November 12, 2025

Steven W. Stiver, 72, of Altoona, passed away last Wednesday at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late William H. and Betty J. (Sheets) Stiver-Rollason.

Steve married Seana Lauver on November 14, 1981, she preceded him in death on December 5, 2017.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Stiver of Altoona and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tom Rollason and his brother, Kimbel Alan Stiver.

He was a graduate of Altoona High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Steve had been a self-employed electrician for most of his life, retiring from Steve’s Electric Service. He had previously worked at Blair Sign Company for 15 years.

He was a former member of Grace Bible Church and New Hope Baptist Church.

Steve loved to read, he will be missed for his unique storytelling skills and his warm personality. He loved his cats, but especially loved spending time with his family.

A memorial service will be held at Richland Bible Church, 162 Church Rd., Dysart, PA 16636 at a later date for family and friends.
