Tammy Jo Bickel March 12, 1968 – Sept. 23, 2020

Tammy Jo Bickel, 52, Altoona, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Carol Bickel. She is survived by two brothers: Robert Smith and William Smith (Michelle), both of Altoona; a sister, Donna Scherden (William) of Pinecroft; brother-in-law, Timothy Lenning; nine nieces and nephews: Jessica Lenning, Nicholas Smith, Brittany Diveglia, Scott Thompson Jr., Brandon Thompson, Katelynn Flaig, Sienna Smith, Emma Giles and Megan Giles; and many great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lenning. Tammy was a 1987 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God, Pinecroft. Tammy enjoyed church, working puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service on Monday, September 28, 2020 at New Life Assembly of God, Pinecroft, by Rev. Wayne Schaffer. Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. The family requests that donations in memory of Tammy be made to New Life Assembly of God, 600 Ritz Road, Altoona PA 16602.
