Obituary For Vicki A. Ehredt

Vicki Ehredt

May 14, 1951-December 6, 2024

Vicki Ehredt, 73, Altoona, unexpectedly passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Paul Roger and Vivian (Sutton) Ehredt.

Vicki married John Capouellez, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband; a brother, Michael Ehredt (Betty Ann); two nephews: Roger Ehredt (Gabbi) and John Ehredt all of Connecticut.

Vicki was a 1969 graduate of Altoona High School. She was the manager of DeGol Stables, a security officer for St. Moritz and she owned and operated, Loving Fingers Equine Massage, where she was a certified massage therapist for horses.

She was an avid horse lover and owned horses her whole life. Her dog, Jake, also held a special place in her heart.

At Vicki’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.

The family asks that contributions be made in Vicki’s memory to: Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 or Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, PO Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.

    Vicki has been a dear Friend since we met in 7th grade. She's been my husband's Friend since 1st grade. We will miss her kindness her smile and her hugs. She was the best Friend to our whole Family and the greatest most loving Friend that anyone could ever ask for and we miss her so very very much She was a huge part of our Family that can never be replaced

    I met Vicki through work at the DLC. She had such a kind heart and would do absolutely anything for anyone. She always made people laugh! Such a genuine person who I had the pleasure to call my friend. She will be missed by so many people who came to know and love her.
