Obituary For Vicki E. Hartlaub

Vicki E. Hartlaub June 29, 1955-June 5, 2021

Vicki E. Hartlaub, 65, of Saxton passed away on Saturday, June 5th at UPMC Altoona with her family by her side.

Vicki was born in Hanover, PA on June 29, 1955 to Roy and Katherine (Shaffer) Lamb. Vicki married her High School sweetheart, Brian R. Hartlaub, and they celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Vicki is survived by two children: Benjamin Hartlaub, Brooke Hartlaub; and her four siblings whom she loved dearly.

Vicki was a devoted wife and mother along with being a successful automotive sales and service business owner with her husband for 30 years. Vicki was a devoted Christian and active in the life of the church. She loved the beach and one of her favorite hobbies was finding seashells and sharks teeth. Vicki spent her free time knitting and crocheting among other crafts. Making mats for the homeless was a passion of Vicki’s. Vicki was a very selfless and caring individual, whom always helped others whenever they were in need, she was truly loved by all.

Memorial services will be held at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Dr., Hanover, PA. 17331. Receiving guest will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1pm and a memorial service will be at 2pm. Please wear something pink, purple, or red in Vicki’s memory.

    Vicki was the sweetest person I ever met. I missed talking to her when we moved after renting from Brian and Vicki. She never had a mean word to say and she'd do anything to help you if she could. Her passing truly shocked me and we send our condolences.

    Brian,Ben and Brooke my deepest sympathies for your family , this is so upsetting ,Vicki was the kindest person i knew. We always had long and awsome conversations on my weekly visits to 194. My prayers for your family, she Will be misssed .

    Brian, Ben, and Brooke, Please know you all are in Dan and my prayers. I will always remember crafting and fellowship with Vicki, and also the fun week we shared on our Cruise. Vicki will be greatly missed.
